Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) is a statewide brand that has been investing a portion of Colorado Lottery proceeds since 1992 to preserve and enhance the state's parks, trails, wildlife, rivers, and open spaces. Without using a single dollar from taxpayers' pockets, GOCO has committed over $1.4 billion to more than 5,600 projects in all 64 counties. Their independent board awards competitive grants to local governments and land trusts, and they make investments through Colorado Parks and Wildlife. GOCO is dedicated to supporting conservation, recreation, and stewardship needs and aims to break down barriers to funding while improving and expanding outdoor opportunities for more people and communities. With a focus on equity, GOCO is committed to supporting community vitality, resource conservation, outdoor stewardship, equitable access to the outdoors, and youth connections. They have impacted 40,000 kids through their Generation Wild program and have conserved 1,256,793 acres of land.
