# Godhavn - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `godhavn.dk` ## Description Godhavn is a residential care and treatment institution in Tisvildeleje, North Zealand, close to the beach and neighbouring woodland. Operating around the clock, it welcomes boys and girls aged 9 to 20 who experience difficulties adapting to the settings around them. Godhavn combines residential care with a school offering special education, serving children and young people as well as their families, municipalities and professional partners. Its pedagogical treatment is based on the belief that every child deserves compassionate, individual care. Support is specially planned and goal-oriented, taking account of each young person’s personal history and emotional and cognitive circumstances, including their ability to build relationships and connect with the world around them. Through this approach, Godhavn provides a tailored environment for care, education and treatment.
