## Description

Golden Cycling Club is a community-focused organization dedicated to mountain biking and trail stewardship in Golden, British Columbia. Created to support the area’s active cycling community, the club builds, maintains, and advocates for trails in and around town. Its work covers four networks of multi-use trails, including Moonrakers, CBT, Mountain Shadows, and Mount 7, as well as Kicking Horse Bike Park. Together, the club and its volunteers help care for more than 180 kilometres of trail, with support from the Town of Golden, private land managers, Indigenous groups, the local community, and Recreation Sites and Trails BC.

The club’s activities include trail maintenance, community events, and cycling programs. It invites riders and supporters to join through annual membership, contribute donations, or explore corporate sponsorship opportunities that help fund trail care and community initiatives. Golden Cycling Club also shares local information and promotes responsible outdoor recreation, including guidance on being bear aware.
