## Description

Golden Hell Week is a community-focused virtual trail-running challenge held in Golden, Colorado. Established in 2016, the event returns October 26–30, 2026, inviting participants to complete five local trail routes over five days, at their own pace and on their own schedule. The 2026 courses cover Lookout Mountain, Galbraith, South Table, North Table Mountain and Apex Mountain Park. Each route includes a map, elevation profile and GPX download, helping runners plan and follow their efforts.

Participants record their activities with GPS, then submit elapsed times to the event results board; stops count, and each runner’s fastest attempt on a route is recorded. The challenge concludes with a Friday gathering at Mountain Toad Brewing, where runners can celebrate and connect with fellow participants. Local partners contribute event-day recovery spaces, participant offers, giveaways and raffle prizes. Golden Hell Week brings together trail running, route information, time tracking and local community support in a flexible event designed for people who want to explore Golden’s trails and take on a shared challenge.
