## Description

Gold Rush Days Festival is the official organization behind Dahlonega’s Gold Rush Days event, bringing the community together for a weekend of festival activities on October 17 and 18, 2026. Its website is the central source for event schedules, festival information, parade details, and vendor participation. Local vendors can access an application, while parade entrants may submit an application. The site also invites nominations for the festival’s King and Queen and Grand Marshal.

Beyond organizing the event, Gold Rush Days Festival directs all proceeds back into the community. Its charitable work includes scholarships for graduating seniors at Lumpkin County High School and Mountain Education Charter High School, support for local nonprofits, direct community assistance, and acts of kindness. A major initiative is the Empty Stocking Fund, which provides toys, clothing, toiletries, and food to help recipients during the holiday season.

Based in Dahlonega, Georgia, the festival combines public celebration with community giving and offers visitors information about the event and the wider Dahlonega area.
