## Description

GOLDWERK Galerie is a contemporary art gallery in Rostock, Germany, presenting and selling works by national and international artists through a changing program of exhibitions. Its focus includes painting and landscape art, with exhibitions bringing together individual artists and multiple artistic positions. The gallery’s featured program includes “Nachbilder,” a painting exhibition by Jens Wisotzky, alongside past presentations such as “Brave New World” and “Am Wasser,” which explored landscape painting.

GOLDWERK also shares its exhibitions beyond its usual gallery setting. A presentation hosted at Dr. Jörg Weiland’s gastroenterology practice in Rostock offers visitors an opportunity to view art during the practice’s opening hours, with additional weekend access during the KUNST HEUTE period. Exhibition openings include public events and introductions by speakers.

The gallery’s represented and featured artists include Mohammad Ariyaei, Karin Bablok, Petra Benndorf, Malte Brekenfeld, Wolfgang Friedrich, Arvydas Kasauskas, Susanne Kraißer, Udo Rathke, Susie Vier, and Moritz Jason Wippermann. Led by owner Mathias Goldberg, GOLDWERK Galerie connects audiences with contemporary art through exhibitions, artwork sales, and artist-focused programming.
