## Description

The ODP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity established to honor Elizabeth “Liz” K. Mitchell Busby, who died in a car accident in 2021. Inspired by the time Liz spent learning golf with her father from the age of seven, the foundation uses the sport to bring fathers and daughters together and encourage girls to build confidence on and beyond the course. Its programs support girls’ participation in golf through grants and supplies for camps, clinics, and leagues, introduce them to golf as a lifelong activity, and award annual college scholarships. The foundation also hosts the annual GolfWithLiz.com tournament, an event open to everyone that raises funds for its mission. The sixth annual tournament is scheduled for May 2, 2027, at Adams Point Golf Club in Blue Springs, Missouri. People can take part by registering to play, sponsoring the event, volunteering, or donating money and items for golfer gift bags or the silent auction. The foundation also provides sponsorship opportunities and information about scholarships and its pro shop.
