## Description

Arvida Good Friends is a community initiative by Arvida, centred on the Living Well Centre in Addington, Christchurch. It helps older people stay active, healthy and socially connected in a safe, welcoming environment. The centre is open to older people across the Christchurch region, whether or not they live in an Arvida community, and offers membership options for those who want to make regular use of its facilities and activities.

Visitors can exercise in a specialised gym, join fitness classes, or swim in the heated pool. The centre also provides a spa, physiotherapy, specialist fitness and wellness programmes, and space for events. A varied programme of activities and events offers opportunities to learn, have fun and meet others, with some events available free of charge. The Natter Café welcomes everyone for breakfast, brunch or lunch six days a week, with discounts for members.

Located at 47 Whiteleigh Avenue, the Living Well Centre is a local hub for fitness, good food and connection.
