## Description

Go Red for Me, also known as Go Red 4 Me, is a registered not-for-profit organisation and charity focused on heart health awareness. Its mission is to help save lives by educating people about heart health and its risk factors, encouraging greater awareness, and raising funds for special heart health projects. The organisation invites people to take part in its annual campaign on 14 February, wearing red to honour loved ones and bring attention to heart health. Participants are encouraged to involve family, friends, colleagues, schoolmates and gym friends, then share photographs on social media using campaign hashtags such as #gored4me, #hearthealthawareness and #getyourheartchecked. Go Red for Me also offers awareness tools, events and opportunities to volunteer, and encourages supporters to follow and share its updates on Facebook and Instagram. The organisation is registered in Australia, holds Deductible Gift Recipient status, and states that donations over $2 are tax deductible. Through community participation, education and fundraising, it aims to turn awareness into action and support heart health initiatives.
