## Description

Michael Arnzen is a horror writer, artist, educator, and creative voice whose work explores the genre through fiction, poetry, music, visual art, and criticism. His website brings together his creative projects, books, events, and ways to follow his latest work. Published titles include Play Dead, 100 Jolts, and Grave Markings: 20th Anniversary Edition, with books available through retailers and other listed sources. Arnzen also offers Instigation: Creative Prompts on the Dark Side, an ebook containing more than 500 prompts designed to spark unconventional ideas for writing, art, and imagination. His monthly podcast, 6 Minutes and 66 Seconds, features commentary on contemporary life, horror, publishing, and pop culture, alongside original fiction, poetry, music, and recordings from live events. Arnzen directs Seton Hill University’s low-residency MFA in Writing Popular Fiction, which includes public guest-speaker events. His site also highlights appearances and projects connected to the horror community. The former Gorelets website has retired, but selected work remains available in The Gorelets Omnibus, and a sequel is in progress.
