## Description

Gossamer Gear, based in Austin, TX, is the original ultralight brand, dedicated to shedding every possible gram while enhancing performance, comfort, and durability. With over two decades of experience, they are committed to innovative designs for backpacks, shelters, and trekking poles. Their philosophy is simple: carrying less allows you to do more, whether it's covering more miles, having more fun, or creating more amazing experiences in the great outdoors. The brand's founders play an active role in product development and testing, ensuring that every item meets their high standards. Glen Van Peski, the founder and chairman, has an extensive background in ultralight backpacking. Grant Sible, also a chairman, has explored numerous hiking trails and wilderness areas across the globe. Their team includes individuals passionate about the outdoors, from climbers to adventurers, who bring their expertise to Gossamer Gear. With a focus on sustainability, Gossamer Gear is a brand that not only provides exceptional gear but also cares about the environment. Join their trail family and be a part of the ultralight movement.
