# Gouda Tijdmachine - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `goudatijdmachine.nl` ## Description Gouda Tijdmachine is a dynamic project dedicated to exploring and visually documenting the historical architecture of Gouda's city center. This initiative aims to holistically reconstruct the city’s development by employing an extensive collection of archival materials that provide insight into property ownership, construction history, and the lives of past residents. It serves as a digital archive, showcasing a wealth of resources, including maps, building plans, and photographs. The project is powered by a passionate team of volunteers who contribute by photographing sources, transcribing documents, and creating 3D reconstructions of both existing and lost buildings. Through its crowdsourcing platform, Vele Panden, the Gouda Tijdmachine invites the public to assist by mapping historical photos and entering census data from the comfort of their homes. A collaboration between the Historische Vereniging Die Goude and Streekarchief Midden-Holland, the Gouda Tijdmachine not only highlights the city’s rich history but also fosters innovation in handling historical and geographical data, making it accessible to all as open data. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQ6n6fkdH/w/380/h/380/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1726919804804) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Boston Blue | #3891b1 | accent | | Dove Gray | #666666 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
