GoUNESCO is a global brand that is all about making heritage fun! As a citizen-led umbrella of initiatives, GoUNESCO aims to make heritage more engaging and accessible to all. Their journey began in 2012 with a travel challenge to visit all world heritage sites in India. Since then, they have expanded their initiatives to include travel challenges, a student program, and the exciting Go Heritage Runs.


GoUNESCO's main objective is to encourage people, both locals and travelers, to experience and engage with heritage in all its forms, including built and cultural heritage. They also aim to initiate global conversations about local heritage and foster a deeper appreciation for it. With events organized in over 120 cities worldwide, GoUNESCO is truly a global movement.


They also organize runs at heritage locations through their offshoot, Go Heritage Runs, which allows participants to engage with the site while promoting awareness of the landscape, culture, and people. As a registered organization, GoUNESCO is committed to making a positive impact. All their activities are currently funded by Go Heritage Runs, with technology infrastructure support from Google for Non-Profits.
