GoWest is the premier Nordic Venture Capital Forum in Gothenburg and West Sweden. Since its inception in 2014 as 'Connect2Capital – West Nordic Venture Capital Forum,' GoWest has rapidly grown to be one of Sweden's and the Nordic's most influential events, facilitating in-person meetings, networking, inspiration, and business collaborations. Under the rebranded name 'GoWest – Nordic Venture Capital Forum' in 2022 by GU Ventures, our conference aims to strengthen the capital supply for startup and scale-up companies through collaborative efforts with investors, industry partners, and ecosystem actors. As part of the larger KRAFT project, GoWest is a highly visible activity that brings together investors, startups, and scale-ups at our annual venture capital forum. The West Sweden region boasts eight incubators, each reflecting the unique industry heritage of their respective areas. From life sciences and health-tech to tech and IT, our incubators cover a wide range of sectors, making us an innovation powerhouse and sustainability frontrunner in Europe.
