## Description

Grand Prix Migros is a Swiss children’s ski-racing event built around the idea that it offers more than a competition. Each year, from January to April, young skiers can take part in 11 qualifying races held across Switzerland, with the season culminating in a final in Grindelwald. Around 6,500 children and teenagers participate, including younger children in the Minirace. Designed for snow-sports fans under eight, the Minirace features a simple, age-appropriate course where children can enjoy their first racing experience and discover skiing in a playful, welcoming setting. Participants and families can also enjoy a varied programme of activities in the event village. The Grand Prix Migros website provides information about races, dates, registration, the Minirace, event news, training tips, videos and photos, and the event’s history. It highlights former participants who went on to become ski stars, including Lara Gut-Behrami, Marco Odermatt and Wendy Holdener. Through its events and resources, Grand Prix Migros encourages young people to enjoy movement, competition and shared experiences in the snow.
