Georgia Parent Support Network (GPSN) is a grassroots family-run non-profit organization established in 1989. With the belief that families are the best agents for change in systems, GPSN provides a community-based network of support for parents of children living with severe emotional disturbances and behavioral difficulties. They aim to facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, and problem-solving among parents.

In addition to support, GPSN advocates in the public forum on local, state, and federal levels for comprehensive, coordinated, community-based, and family-driven mental health services for children and adolescents. They also work to increase public awareness about the needs and conditions of children and adolescents who live with severe emotional disturbance, ultimately aiming to reduce the stigma of mental illness. GPSN fosters collaboration between parents, clients, and professionals and administers programs and services that meet the needs of children with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances.
