## Description

The Colorado Masons’ Benevolent Fund is a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting education through scholarships and vocational grants. Established in 1966, the fund has awarded over $15 million in scholarships to more than 1,700 students pursuing higher education in Colorado. The scholarship program offers renewable awards of up to $7,000 per year, totaling $28,000, based on criteria such as leadership, need, and academic ability, while ensuring accessibility without regard to race, creed, or gender.

In addition to scholarships, the fund provides one-time Vocational Grants, valued at $1,000 each, to students seeking vocational training in Colorado. Annually, the fund also initiates a Matching Grants program that enhances local Masonic lodge contributions to support students, with historical support exceeding $600,000 since its inception. The organization continues to foster educational opportunities, making a significant annual contribution to Colorado's higher education landscape, with approximately $240,000 distributed in 2023 alone. For inquiries or applications, interested individuals can reach out via education@cmbfa.org or call 719-623-5349.
