## Description

Grasrota is a Norwegian quiz app designed to make taking part in a weekly competition simple, social, and fun. Available to download free from Google Play and the App Store, it lets people play with friends, family, colleagues, and teammates while competing for a place at the top of the leaderboard. The app is intended for a broad range of participants, including individuals, sports clubs, associations, friendship groups, and volunteer organizations.

Getting started involves downloading the app, registering and selecting an organization or group, then completing registration through Vipps. Subscribers can participate right away, with new quizzes published weekly and scores giving players the chance to move up the table from week to week. Teams can take quizzes together, and users are encouraged to share the app digitally with their networks to help promote participation and generate more quiz players.

Organizations can also register to take part. Grasrota is operated by Kompetanseløftet AS, a Norwegian company.
