## Description

The Grassroots Institute is a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to education, capacity building, and innovative research to empower marginalized communities and Indigenous peoples. Established in 2005 in India and later registered in Canada in 2018, the Institute aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world challenges faced by communities affected by environmental degradation and socio-economic injustices.

The Institute publishes several peer-reviewed journals, including the Grassroots Journal of Natural Resources and the Journal of Environmental Law & Policy, that aim to document and disseminate research relevant to grassroots issues. These publications offer a platform for budding researchers, scholars, and practitioners to share their findings, engage in discourse, and promote local knowledge systems.

With a commitment to open access, fast publication, and wide indexing, the Grassroots Institute also provides various services such as language corrections, proofreading, and special publishing certificates, ensuring that the insights of the community reach a broader audience and influence policy-making effectively.
