## Description

Great Explorations Children’s Museum is a nonprofit children’s museum serving Tampa Bay, with a mission to stimulate learning through creativity, play, and exploration. For more than 38 years, it has supported children’s practical learning through a creative curriculum and hands-on experiences in a safe, collaborative environment. The museum offers exhibits, a living collection, and activities designed to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and self-expression.

Its services include preschool enrollment, field trips, birthday parties, outreach, and programs for young children and families. Field trips combine education and fun in two-hour experiences, while birthday celebrations offer customizable options. Programs listed include summer camp, Stay & Play, Terrific Tots, Great Connections, and community outreach; availability may vary, as some programs have been paused or capacity limited. The museum also hosts special events and workshops, including activities featuring its resident snakes. Families can explore admission and membership options, and adults can participate as volunteers or support the organization through donations and sponsorships.
