The website delves into the history of the Great War 1914-1918, with a focus on the personal stories of their own family members who served during this tumultuous time. Through their own deep interest in the Great War, the authors have curated a collection of compelling stories and information, drawing from their family's experiences and connections to the battlefield. The family's involvement in the Great War is profound, with 27 members serving in various capacities across different branches of the armed forces. Notably, their grandfather was a Waterloo veteran, and much of the subsequent generations served in the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Flying Corps/Royal Air Force, and Canadian Army during World War I. The dedication of Joanna Legg and Graham Parker to preserving the memory of their ancestors' sacrifices is evident in their extensive research, battlefield tours, and contributions to various historical associations. Through greatwar.co.uk, they honor the legacy of their family and all those who served during the Great War. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Royal Blue | #1a73e8 | accent | | Shark | #202124 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Georgia — asset _(custom)_ - Roboto-Regular — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
