## Description

Green Dividend is an innovative initiative launched by alstria office REIT-AG, aimed at addressing climate change through strategic investment in renewable energy and carbon reduction projects. Recognizing the urgency of meeting CO2 reduction targets set by the Paris Agreement, Green Dividend emphasizes the need for additional investments that maximize the impact of capital allocated for climate mitigation. The program operates under the belief that while financially viable projects will naturally attract investment, the current market-driven approach is insufficient for broader environmental goals.

Green Dividend encourages shareholders to support climate-friendly investments and enables companies to pursue more efficient climate mitigation efforts. By accepting the Green Dividend, stakeholders are empowered to engage in projects that significantly reduce carbon footprints. In contrast, opting out provides companies the freedom to invest beyond traditional financial norms. Ultimately, Green Dividend symbolizes a commitment to coordinated action in the fight against climate change, ensuring that every contribution has a tangible impact.
