## Description

Green Artichoke is a private chef and catering service based in Victoria, British Columbia, serving clients across Victoria and Vancouver Island. Led by Chef Kyle Gerrard, the business brings restaurant, private dining, and international yacht and villa experience to personalized food experiences. Its offerings include private dining, catering for celebrations and gatherings, wedding services, yacht cooking, cooking lessons, and sample menus, with vegetarian options available.

Green Artichoke centres its approach on locally grown ingredients, sustainability, and the connection between food and place. The business aims to showcase the flavours of Vancouver Island by sourcing thoughtfully and celebrating the work of local farmers and purveyors. Its philosophy treats the chef’s role as bringing out the natural character of ingredients through careful preparation. Green Artichoke also emphasizes community and respect for the land, acknowledging the unceded territory of the Lekwungen people, including the Songhees and Esquimalt communities. Whether hosting a romantic dinner or a larger event, the service offers tailored dining that connects guests with local food and the region’s distinctive culinary culture.
