## Description

Greenbacker is a multi-strategy investment manager and independent power producer focused on accelerating the energy transition through sustainable investments. The company connects individual and institutional investors with opportunities to finance the infrastructure, real assets, and businesses supporting a lower-carbon, more energy-secure future.

Through Greenbacker Capital Management, the firm advises energy-transition-focused investment strategies and provides capital-raising, marketing, and investor services. Its investment approach draws on experience owning and operating sustainable infrastructure to identify opportunities across the sustainability asset class. Through Greenbacker IPP, the company acquires, owns, and operates clean energy projects that generate revenue by producing and selling power.

Greenbacker’s portfolio includes solar, wind, and energy storage assets, ranging from utility-scale facilities to rooftop projects. Its investments support renewable power generation, grid resilience, and decarbonization. The company also shares project information and impact reporting to illustrate how capital is deployed across its platform. As of June 30, 2026, Greenbacker reported $2.9 billion in assets under management, 3.3 gigawatts of clean energy capacity, and 273 clean energy projects across its portfolios.
