The Green Bank Network (GBN) is a collaborative membership organization that connects and supports existing Green Banks worldwide. Its mission is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and resources among Green Banks, as well as to provide guidance to jurisdictions aspiring to establish their own Green Banks. The GBN was established in 2015 by several Green Banks, including the Australian Clean Energy Finance Corporation, the Japan Green Fund, and the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre, among others.

Partnering with non-profit organizations and backed by funding from ClimateWorks, the GBN aims to increase the flow of capital to low-carbon and resilient infrastructure projects. With the goal of standardizing deal structures and enhancing transparency, the GBN seeks to enable private investors and developers to collaborate effectively with Green Banks. As the transition to a low-carbon economy becomes increasingly vital, the GBN plays a crucial role in mobilizing both public and private finance to drive the growth of clean energy and combat climate change
