## Description

Green City e.V. is a Munich-based nonprofit association working to improve the city’s climate, environment and quality of life. For more than 30 years, it has brought residents, volunteers and partners together to advance practical solutions to the climate crisis, guided by the United Nations’ global sustainability goals. Supported by more than 2,500 supporters, the organization focuses on sustainable mobility, urban greening, climate action and education.

Its initiatives invite people to take part in shaping their neighborhoods and public spaces. Projects include community gardening, the Wanderbaumallee tree initiative, parklets, clothing-swap events, citizen campaigns and activities that encourage resource conservation. Green City also offers educational programs for different audiences, including work on renewable energy and education for sustainable development. Workshops, guided tours, community events and public campaigns provide further ways to learn and get involved.

Residents can support the association by becoming members, volunteering, donating or subscribing to its newsletter. Green City e.V. aims to make Munich greener, more climate-friendly and more livable through collaborative, hands-on environmental work.
