The area boasts a skilled workforce, first-class port infrastructure, and manufacturing facilities that have received substantial investments in recent years. By creating a free trade zone in this region, Green Freeport aims to support the development of low carbon technologies, secure a sustainable pipeline of supply chain opportunities, and bring significant regeneration to the Scottish Highlands.
