# GREEN GARDEN’S EDUCATION

- **Website:** <https://greengardenseducation.org>
- **Primary alias:** `greengardenseducation.org`

## Description

Green Gardens Education and Designs helps homeowners and other green spaces transform conventional lawns into ecologically diverse, wildlife-supportive gardens centered on native plants. Led by Trecia, who has more than 30 years of experience creating habitat and designing gardens for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife, the business offers tailored guidance for both new and existing residential and commercial gardens.

Its services include garden design, consultations, surveys, interviews, and on-site observation to understand each client’s needs. Trecia can advise on planting and, when requested, help source plants. The goal is to create attractive, low-maintenance landscapes that support wildlife, provide nutrient-dense food, and deepen people’s connection with nature. Green Gardens also offers educational resources and excursions, and features a native plant nursery, Wild Roots.

Trecia’s experience includes tagging and releasing monarch butterflies with President and First Lady Carter, and designing a garden for the visitor center in Plains, Georgia, now registered on the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail.
