## Description

Greenies Academia is an education and childcare provider in Greenhaven, serving young children and primary-school learners in a safe, welcoming environment. Its origins date to Little Greenies, established in 2000 at Wilhelmus Road to provide care and education for young children. Little Greenies Preparatory followed in 2017 at Rayner Road, addressing the need for an intimate, happy and secure setting for learners in Grades 1 to 3.

The preparatory school offers a holistic academic programme based on the CAPS curriculum advocated by the Western Cape Education Department. Classes are limited to a maximum of 16 learners, enabling individual attention. Alongside its academic programme, Greenies Academia provides a range of extracurricular activities to learners at no additional cost. These include Shinkyokushin karate, speech and drama, Islamic studies, music and movement, and swimming.

The school also lists aftercare and transport among its services. Its stated operating hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
