## Description

Green Marketing Lab (GML) is an initiative of The Japan Research Institute focused on helping people reduce the carbon emissions associated with everyday life. It works with consumers, companies, local governments, and other partners to make decarbonization practical, engaging, and part of daily decision-making. GML approaches this goal through three familiar areas: buying, learning, and money, aiming to encourage sustained, independent climate action.

For individuals and communities, GML offers educational and engagement activities such as the CO2 Monster, Eco Label Laboratory, and CO2-reduction puzzle challenges. Its programs connect environmental learning with everyday choices, including recognizing eco-labels. For companies, municipalities, and organizations, services include consortium development, support for local government initiatives that encourage residents to adopt lower-carbon behaviors, and green consulting. GML also shares household-emissions data, research reports, videos, and accounts of workshops and community projects. Through collaboration and dialogue, the lab seeks to turn interest in climate action into concrete steps and help advance a greener future.
