## Description

Greens Do Good is a hydroponic, vertical farm located in Hackensack, NJ, and is part of the REED Autism Services family of programs. Our mission is to revolutionize the local community's access to fresh and healthy produce in a sustainable and socially responsible way. When you step into Greens Do Good, you'll be welcomed by trays of vibrant basil, microgreens, and lettuce, all grown and cared for by individuals with autism who are an integral part of our workforce. Through our Workforce Development Program, we provide training to teens with autism, offering more than 800 hours of instruction each year. Participants learn environmentally sustainable practices and essential job skills, helping them build their resumes and prepare for future employment. For our adult participants, we offer paid employment opportunities and meaningful community integration. As a green business, our environmentally-friendly farming methods enable year-round growing, using minimal space, water, and energy compared to traditional farms. We sell our products through farm club memberships and local establishments, while also partnering with the Bergen County Food Security Task Force to provide surplus produce to families in need within our community. By choosing Greens Do Good, you are supporting our mission to facilitate the personal and professional growth of individuals with autism, while also enjoying the freshest and most nutritious produce available.
