## Description

Grégand Innovations is at the forefront of medical technology with its groundbreaking project focused on alleviating phantom limb pain in amputees. The company has developed the Caloprothèse, an innovative medical device recognized for its effectiveness. This product is the first heated silicone sleeve specifically designed for individuals with femoral and tibial amputations. Grégand Innovations aims to significantly improve the quality of life for amputees by integrating scientific research with practical applications.

The Caloprothèse leverages physiological response data, helping the central nervous system better adapt to the new body schema. By restoring thermo-sensory balance, this device can change the perception of phantom pain into a more benign experience. Over the years, Grégand Innovations has garnered multiple accolades, including the National Innovation and Emerging Technologies Competition award and the Alfred Sauvy Prize in 2013.
