## Description

Gregor Steinmetz is a motion and communication designer whose work brings ideas to life through animation and visual storytelling. With an M.A. in Motion Design, he explores a range of approaches, including 2D and 3D animation, stop-motion, virtual reality, and analogue film. His practice combines digital tools with hands-on techniques, seeking fresh solutions tailored to each project rather than repeating the same formula.

Animation has been part of Steinmetz’s life since childhood, when he first made drawings move. Today, he draws inspiration from urban life, street art, and the world around him, using these influences to shape distinctive visual concepts. His portfolio features a varied selection of projects, including work connected to architecture, marketing, artificial intelligence, and cultural themes such as the return of rail travel to Japan. The range reflects an experimental approach and an interest in moving between subjects, styles, and media. Gregor Steinmetz offers creative motion design and communication design, with an emphasis on exploration, originality, and finding the right visual language for each brief.
