## Description

Greg 'CRAOLA' Simkins is a renowned surrealist artist based in Torrance, California, whose captivating work fuses pop culture with nature and whimsical imagination. Born in 1975, Simkins began his artistic journey at the tender age of three, drawing inspiration from beloved books like "Watership Down" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." His early exposure to graffiti art solidified his passion for large-scale painting and provided him with essential skills in color theory and perspective. After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art in 1999, he worked as an illustrator for various brands and video games, including "Spiderman" and "Tony Hawk."

In 2005, Simkins transitioned to painting full-time, quickly gaining recognition for his unique style, which blends elements of carnival kitsch with classical influences. His artwork is now showcased in galleries and museums worldwide, and it continues to attract a growing following. The GregSimkinsArt.com website features an online shop, showcasing paintings, drawings, and collaborations that reflect his imaginative vision.
