# Schweizerische Greina-Stiftung - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `greina-stiftung.ch` ## Description The Swiss Greina Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving alpine rivers and streams and the natural landscapes they sustain. It advocates for the protection of remaining near-natural waters, appropriate residual water flows in hydropower projects in line with constitutional requirements, and an energy transition that is ecologically and economically sustainable. Working with partners from science, politics, public administration and civil society, the Foundation promotes healthy, diverse waterways across Switzerland. Its activities include public education, excursions, events and media outreach, as well as ALPEX, a project that develops independent, evidence-based research to inform decisions about alpine rivers as protection agreements expire and hydropower concessions are renewed. The Foundation also shares news and research on river conservation and supports public discussion through initiatives such as the Greina Forum in Disentis. The organization is funded in part by charitable donations, which help sustain its independent work and conservation projects. Its shop offers map sets, books, CDs and a landscape calendar featuring photography from Graubünden. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=61579399001124) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/viva_la_greina) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/schweizerische-greina-stiftung) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idbhyjmOsR/w/503/h/113/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793570321368) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idbhyjmOsR/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793570321541) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fun Blue | #174e99 | accent | | Denim | #1675b5 | dark | | Sinbad | #a8cfda | light | ## Fonts - Noto Sans — asset _(google)_ - var(--bedrock-font) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
