## Description

Grenzland-Haus is a supported-living project in the centre of Seifhennersdorf, Saxony, created to help older people live as independently and comfortably as possible while remaining connected to their community. The residence offers accessible, single-level two-room apartments in two sizes: 38 square metres for one person and 46 square metres for two. The apartments are designed without thresholds, and their layouts allow beds to be adjusted for care needs. Residents may arrange services from an outpatient care provider of their choice, supporting individual preferences and changing needs.

Alongside private living spaces, Grenzland-Haus provides spacious communal rooms where residents can meet and take part in activities. Its grounds include a park-like setting and a garden designed for walks and relaxation. The building also houses a general medical practice and the project’s offices. Shops and local services, including a bakery, pharmacy, physiotherapy practice, bank and grocery store, are within walking distance. Grenzland-Haus presents its approach as “club living,” balancing personal autonomy with opportunities for social connection and participation in local life.
