## Description

Gretchen L. Kelly is an acclaimed author and passionate advocate for social justice based in North Carolina. Born in 1973 and raised by a single mother who inspired her with feminist ideals, Gretchen's journey as a writer began in childhood. After publishing a community newsletter that captured local events and human-interest stories, she evolved her craft to reach a broader audience. Her writing delves deeply into themes of social justice, family dynamics, and personal loss, particularly influenced by the grief of losing her younger brother to pediatric cancer.

Gretchen's articles have gained international recognition, including a notable piece on everyday sexism featured in various publications just prior to the #MeToo movement. She has contributed regularly to the Good Men Project and co-leads their Stop Sexism podcast. In addition to her writing, she founded a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and parents in advocating for social equity. Currently, she is developing her first novel, further intertwining her activism with compelling storytelling.
