## Description

Grit Gewald’s Schmuckwerkstatt is a Bavaria-based jewelry brand devoted to designing and handcrafting distinctive one-of-a-kind pieces. Working from her atelier and workshop in Ascha, Grit draws inspiration from both traditional and contemporary Bavarian jewelry design, as well as the nature and local heritage of the place she has called home for 30 years. Her collections carry names connected to this sense of home, and each piece is created to feel individual and wearable.

The designs combine materials such as horn and silver, offering many possibilities for personal styling and coordination. The range includes jewelry for women and men, with rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pendants, and bridal jewelry. Featured creations include malachite pendants and earrings set in crown-style mounts, as well as rings featuring cultured freshwater pearls. Grit also shares impressions of her work and workshop, offers a newsletter, and provides information about markets and events where her pieces can be discovered. The workshop additionally hosts children’s blacksmithing birthday experiences, bringing hands-on craft activities to young visitors.
