## Description

GROOVETUBE FES is a free music festival built around the idea of enjoying favorite music with the sea as a backdrop. Organized by the nonprofit organization groovetube, the festival brings together live music, DJ performances, and community activities in Yokoshiba-Hikari, Chiba Prefecture. Its program features a changing lineup of artists, with past events highlighting acts such as Sugar Plant and DJ SUGIURUMN, alongside special performances and guest appearances. The festival’s website shares artist announcements, timetables, event access information, photo galleries, and updates about participating shops. GROOVETUBE FES also presents A DAY ON THE BEACH, an event promoted in collaboration with KiliKiliVilla. The festival is supported by Yokoshiba-Hikari Town and local tourism and business organizations. Its organizers aim to create an open, celebratory setting where audiences can enjoy music by the coast. The planned September 26 event was cancelled because of severe rain forecasts and rail service disruptions, with ticket refunds arranged for purchasers.
