## Description

GroundUp is a vital resource for individuals in South Africa seeking information about social grants and assistance. Dedicated to improving the living standards of vulnerable populations, GroundUp provides comprehensive guides on the social grant system established by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).

With a commitment to accuracy, GroundUp updates its content regularly to help users navigate the complexities of social assistance. The brand highlights the seven key social grants available, including the Child Support Grant, Care Dependency Grant, and Disability Grant, each designed to support specific groups such as the elderly, disabled individuals, and children. Complementing these grants is the Social Relief of Distress, which offers temporary assistance to those in urgent financial need.

GroundUp serves as an important intermediary, ensuring that crucial information is accessible, especially during periods like the Covid-19 pandemic, while reinforcing the constitutional right to social security for all South Africans. Whether you’re applying for a grant or seeking assistance, GroundUp is your go-to source for guidance and support.
