Group Effort Initiative (GEI) is dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals from underrepresented communities to gain real experience and build lasting careers in the entertainment industry. With a focus on inclusivity and impact, GEI offers a range of programs and services. Participants of GEI have access to paid internships that provide valuable industry experience.

They are also connected to entry-level job opportunities that align with their career interests. GEI places participants as on-set Production Assistants (PAs) on various productions, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, GEI offers mentorship programs that match participants with industry professionals.

Education is a key aspect of GEI's mission, and they organize year-round workshops, panel discussions, and other educational experiences to further develop participants' skills and knowledge. With a track record of success, GEI has secured hundreds of paid internships and entry-level positions, partnering with over 250 entertainment companies and collaborating with more than 150 community pipeline organizations and local colleges.
