Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club is one of Canada's oldest and most respected ski clubs, established in 1929. With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, our club offers comprehensive ski racing programs for athletes aged 6-18. Our goal is to develop the physical and ski-specific qualities of young racers while fostering a fun and supportive environment.

Please note that our programs are designed for experienced skiers and are not meant as a learn-to-ski program. We invite interested families to apply for the 2023/2024 season, starting January 10, 2023. However, due to limited availability, we cannot guarantee a spot for everyone.

To get a better understanding of our club, we encourage you to attend one of our information sessions. These sessions provide an opportunity to meet our program director, head coaches, and membership chair, allowing you to ask questions and learn more about Tyee ski club. If your child's application is considered, they may be invited to a Try Tyee session for a skiing assessment.

This will help us determine if they are ready for our program and allow them to experience a sample training session. We prioritize applicants who embody the Tyee Spirit, which includes enthusiasm for skiing, independence, perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and friendship. Strong skiers and families with at least one parent/guardian who is a proficient skier will also receive priority consideration.
