## Description

Forever Hounds Trust is an England and Wales registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted, abused or abandoned greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1996 as Greyhound Rescue West of England, the organisation works towards a future in which every greyhound and lurcher is free from risk or need. Its care helps dogs, including those from racing backgrounds, recover and find safe, loving homes as family companions.

The Trust supports prospective adopters with information about its hounds, the adoption process and life with a rescue or ex-racing greyhound. Its website also provides practical advice on dog care, training, settling in at home and common challenges. Beyond adoption, the charity offers opportunities to foster, volunteer, sponsor a dog or kennel space, and contribute through donations, fundraising and other forms of support. It also organises sighthound social walks and events, shares news and success stories, and sells items through its shop. Based in Chard, Somerset, Forever Hounds Trust brings supporters together to improve the welfare and futures of greyhounds and lurchers.
