## Description

The Grand River Writing Tribe (GRWT) is dedicated to uplifting authors who are passionate about honing their writing skills and pursuing publication. Established in 2016 in West Michigan's lower Grand River watershed, the Tribe provides a supportive environment for serious writers to connect and grow in their craft. Initially meeting regularly for critiques and educational sessions, the Tribe adapted during the pandemic and expanded to include several subgroups tailored to members' goals and availability. Offerings include the in-person OG Tribe and The Noodles, as well as virtual options for writers seeking community without traditional meeting formats. Members benefit from personalized group placements, access to a community Discord server for collaboration, priority registration for writing seminars, and engagement with a network of committed authors. GRWT also encourages local writing organizations to collaborate, enriching the overall literary landscape. The program operates under the Lakeshore Literary Foundation, with Andrew Ronzino serving as the program director, fostering a rich environment for literary development.
