## Description

The Global Species Action Plan (GSAP) online knowledge platform supports implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), which sets out 23 targets to halt and reverse biodiversity loss. It presents strategic interventions and recommended actions to help governments and other stakeholders advance the conservation and sustainable use of species. Users can explore guidance organized around each GBF target, from ecosystem restoration and protected areas to sustainable wildlife trade, invasive species, pollution, climate resilience, and inclusive decision-making.

The platform provides access to related tools and resources, alongside information about the GBF’s targets and actions and the actors involved in implementation. Its content is intended to strengthen coordination and help scale up practical conservation efforts. Topics also include species recovery, genetic diversity, human-wildlife coexistence, biodiversity in agriculture and business, sustainable consumption, financing, capacity-building, and equitable participation. Through its searchable knowledge hub and target-by-target resources, GSAP serves as an informational guide for stakeholders working to translate global biodiversity commitments into action.
