## Description

Green Systems Innovation Hub (GSI Hub) is an Africa-focused, youth-led climate innovation organisation based in Nairobi, Kenya. It equips young people with climate knowledge, leadership experience and green skills, helping them turn local challenges into practical solutions while addressing climate vulnerability and youth unemployment. Its work connects education with enterprise and policy: the Hub trains students in climate science and policy, supports youth-led green ventures, and creates opportunities for young leaders to contribute to climate decision-making, from campuses to international forums.

GSI Hub’s programmes include the Climate Senate, which supports student climate leadership and campus green policies; Food for Forest, focused on campus agroforestry; and the Green Dollar Challenge, which incubates circular-economy startups. Voices of GSI Hub supports climate data verification and reporting. The organisation also offers fellowships, ambassador roles, volunteer opportunities and startup cohorts, alongside events, resources and climate advocacy. Its stated reach includes engagement across 47 Kenyan counties and 53 institutions.
