Gateway to Freedom is a nonprofit 501c3 organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. Our mission is to empower at-risk teens and young adults by mitigating harm and increasing their chances of success. We achieve this through our innovative programs that utilize the creative arts, mentorship, and community outreach.

One of our flagship programs is the Notes to Freedom music and production program. Here, we teach teens how to use music synthesizers, edit videos, and perform in groups, fostering their creativity and self-expression. Another program we offer is the Youth Mentorship, where formerly incarcerated youth share their inspiring stories of turning their lives around and finding fulfilling passions.

Additionally, we collaborate with other nonprofits in hosting outreach events throughout the Phoenix area, providing pop-up creativity tents that engage and inspire the community. With the alarming statistics of suicide rates among young people, we strive to make a difference and offer a support system for those in need.
