## Description

Guernsey Pistol Club is the home of pistol shooting in Guernsey, supporting competitive and historic pistol shooting as well as enthusiasts interested in the sport. Founded in 1966, the club marked its 50th anniversary in 2016 and operates two ranges. Its indoor range at Mont Arrivée in St Peter Port has four 25-metre lanes and is used for .22 rimfire and air pistol shooting. Weekly 10-metre air pistol sessions are held there on Monday evenings. The outdoor range at Chouet headland has ten 25-metre lanes and accommodates centre-fire and small-bore pistols, as well as rifles. Both ranges have turning targets.

The club offers membership and hosts competitions, with news and results shared on its website. Visitors can attend a Sunday morning session at Chouet, where club officials provide an introduction. Shooting is supervised individually, and visitors may use club pistols, subject to applicable documentation, safety requirements and officials’ assessment. Range fees and ammunition charges apply. The club’s registered office is at The Rifle Range, Mont Arrivée, St Peter Port.
