## Description

GuessSong is a free, open-source music guessing game designed to turn a party into a lively quiz. Hosts can paste a link to any public Spotify playlist, add players, and play short song clips while guests race to identify each track. The game runs on a single screen, with no login, account, app, or payment required. Players can earn points for naming the song and its album, while Mixed Playlist Mode combines playlists from different guests and awards a bonus for identifying whose playlist a track came from. Buzzer Mode lets players respond from their own phones instead of shouting answers. Hosts can adjust settings such as clip length and the number of songs, and can try sample playlists if they do not have one ready. GuessSong also offers a Taste Quiz link and practical guides to hosting music quiz nights, choosing playlists, adapting game rules, and troubleshooting playlist links. It supports public Spotify playlists; clips are sourced from iTunes and Deezer when available, and tracks without previews are skipped.
