## Description

Guns ’N Hoses is a St. Louis nonprofit fundraising organization presented by the St. Louis Guns ’N Hoses Boxing Association. Founded in 1987, it raises money for The BackStoppers, which supports families of police officers, firefighters, volunteer firefighters, publicly funded paramedics, and EMTs who die in the line of duty or suffer catastrophic injuries. The organization’s mission is to support these survivors, and it reports that 100% of donations go to The BackStoppers. Over its history, Guns ’N Hoses has raised approximately $14 million for the cause.

Its signature annual event brings together police and fire personnel for boxing matches, drawing community support through ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships. The organization also hosts a golf tournament and other events, and offers merchandise for purchase. Supporters can contribute through direct donations, sponsorship opportunities, ticket purchases, and third-party fundraising. Guns ’N Hoses shares event information, videos, results, and updates through its website and social media.
